 How Weightless Flight is Conducted - ZERO G conducts its weightless flights aboard G FORCE ONE – a specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft. Able to accommodate up to 35 Flyers and 6 crew members, G-FORCE ONE is the result of thorough evaluations and consultation with the FAA in order to modify the aircraft for parabolic flight maneuvers – controlled ascent and descent of the plane in order to create temporary weightlessness. These parabolic flight maneuvers are the same methods used to train astronauts for space, and used by Ron Howard in the filming of the movie Apollo 13.

 Prior to the flight, flyers undergo a brief training session before embarking G-FORCE ONE. The total duration flight is approximately 90 minutes, during which Flyers experience gravity conditions on Mars (1/3-g); the moon (1/6-g); and space (0-g).
